Ate here for the first time today & LOVED it! The free naan & carrot salad were delicious. The cigar borek appetizer was tasty too. I had lamb chops & my daughters had a lunch doner plate (which they let her get even though it was past the lunch cutoff time of 3:00) and a burger. The lamb chops were yummy, the smaller doner plate was exactly what she wanted, & the burger was juicy & really good too. We also tried out all three desserts. All were good but the kadaif was my favorite & my (adult) kids both preferred the baklava. One of my girls also tried the Turkish tea & that was quite good too. Our server was Brooklyn & she was amazing! She not only did her job well, but she was super friendly & even brought out the package of tea because my daughter wanted to know what brand it was. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice Turkish diner/ food . The food was very authentic , great taste , and unlike most doner / gyro was not greasy . The staff and owner very helpful and friendly. Very casual pleasant ambiance. If you want to try some very nice , tasty and authentic Turkish / Mediterranean food would strongly recommend.

So glad I brought my family here for lunch! We had an amazing experience at Ugly Restaurant and Bar. The service was perfect and I think our waiter was the owner. He made excellent recommendations and was patient with us.Before you order they bring a carrot salad and lavash which was delicious. We ordered the baba ganoush, falafel, and cigar borek as appetizers and all were tasty. I ordered the Turkish Green Salad as my appetizer and it was one of the best salads I have ever tasted. The house dressing is so fresh and light.For our main course, we had the Iskender doner and manti dumplings. Both dishes were fabulous. We asked about the sauce that comes with some of the dishes and the owner stated he makes the sauces. Did not have a name for the sauce so we just called it Ugly sauce. Get extra! It's so good. We finished our lunch with baklava which was to die for.We will definitely be returning in the future for dinner to try new items.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Don't be fooled by the name "Ugly Restaurant and Bar" – this Turkish gem offers a dining experience that is nothing short of exquisite. The ambiance is upscale, radiating class from the meticulously selected plates to the elegant chairs. Every element in this restaurant is curated to elevate your dining experience. But let's talk about the food. If Gyros are your thing, look no further – this might just become your favorite spot. For the adventurous palates, there's a plethora of delightful options waiting to be explored. Highly recommended and we can't wait to return!

The location, atmosphere, service, and cleanliness of this restaurant are superb. However, the food is not the best authentic Turkish food when it comes to flavor. The chicken wings were decent, but the lamb chops and other chicken dishes are very bland. I’d love to come back again, but hopefully the flavor of the food improves.
